Shorncliffe

Oil & Gas Pump Jack

Sumerian Oil & Gas holds a significant operated position at Shorncliffe, with a 100% working interest across 4.75 sections and an additional 25% non-operated working interest. The area includes a mix of Sumerian-operated wells and select non-operated wells

The field targets medium gravity oil from the Ellerslie, Glauconitic Sandstone, and Basal Quartz formations—reliable, well-characterized reservoirs with strong development history and predictable performance.

Field Infrastructure

Shorncliffe hosts Sumerian’s primary field office and includes two producing areas tied into a central battery with pipeline connections to Inter Pipeline Ltd. This infrastructure provides stable operations and efficient handling of production volumes.

Development Opportunity

Sumerian is planning a comprehensive reactivation and optimization program across the field. Engineering work indicates that improvements to water handling, combined with converting an existing wellbore to water injection, could unlock meaningful gains in reservoir support and production capability.

Growth Potential

With the upcoming reactivation program, Sumerian estimates the Shorncliffe field has the potential to reach up to 500 boe/d on a stabilized basis—representing a substantial uplift from current field conditions and a cornerstone growth asset for the Company
